Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026

1. The service

The ITORA Home Wellbeing Assessment is an architect-led, on-site evaluation of a residence in Portugal. It results in a written report that scores six environmental conditions (light, air, acoustics, temperature, spatial flow and connection to nature) and provides prioritised recommendations. The free online quiz produces a pre-diagnosis of the residence based on the answers provided; it is not a substitute for the full on-site Assessment.

2. Scheduling and cancellation

Assessments are scheduled by mutual agreement, subject to monthly capacity in each coastal zone. Cancellations made at least 7 days before the scheduled visit may be rescheduled at no cost. Cancellations within 7 days may incur a fee to cover reserved time and travel.

3. Scope and limitations

ITORA evaluates the home environment and its wellbeing conditions. The Assessment is not a medical diagnosis, an engineering survey, a legal certification, or a substitute for professional advice from a doctor, engineer, surveyor or lawyer. Recommendations are informational and do not commit you to any works.

4. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ITORA's liability arising from or in connection with the Assessment is limited to the fee paid for that Assessment. ITORA is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for outcomes that depend on third parties you engage to carry out any recommended works.

5. Intellectual property

The written report is provided for the client's personal use in relation to the assessed residence. The methodology, templates and scoring system remain the property of ITORA.

6. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Portugal.
